How to Use ChubbFolio

1.What is ChubbFolio?

  • ChubbFolio is a quick and easy paperless choice designed for Chubb Personal Insurance clients who wish to access their Masterpiece® policy documents and important policyholder services online, at any time.

2.Who can enrol in ChubbFolio?

  • Chubb Personal Insurance clients with active policies in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario and Quebec.

3.Are the ChubbFolio services free?

  • Yes, ChubbFolio is complimentary for Chubb Personal Insurance clients.

4.How do I enrol in ChubbFolio?

  • Enrolment is secure, quick and easy. Visit https://chubbfolio.chubb.com/en/Account.mvc/registration to enrol now. To set up your account, you will need your unique access code you received by mail. You will also be asked to provide any of your active Personal Insurance policy numbers with Chubb. After you enter your email address and set up your personal password, we will send you an email confirming you have successfully enrolled in ChubbFolio.

5.What happens once I enrol?

  • Your documents will be accessible online and you will no longer receive paper copies of your documents. Only mandatory documents will continue to be sent to you in paper format (e.g., automobile liability certificates).

6.When do my documents appear online?

  • Your documents will be available online after you have successfully enrolled in ChubbFolio, beginning with the most recent postings. Any future changes to your policy will be available for view once they have been approved and issued by Chubb. You will receive a ChubbFolio email notification when your documents are available for view.

7.Can I see documents belonging to others?

  • You can automatically access documents for all people noted as named insureds with you on any policy. For your auto policy, anyone who is a listed driver can also view your auto policy provided the driver is noted as a named insured with you on any policy that you share. To link policies that do not share these similarities within your household, you can contact Chubb Customer Care at chubbcustomercare@chubb.com or call 1-855-57CHUBB (24822) between 8:30 am and 7:00 pm EST, Monday through Friday, and request these additional views. A series of security questions will be asked before any further access is granted to you.

8.Can I change my policy online?

  • No. Changes to your policy cannot be made online. All change requests must be directed to your insurance broker.

9.How do I access policy documents from previous years?

  • Your Personal Insurance documents will be retained online for 2 years. If you need to receive a copy of your documents prior to this time period, please contact your insurance broker.

10.Can I switch back to paper mailing?

  • Yes. You can unenrol from ChubbFolio at any time and resume delivery of paper documents by sending us an email at chubbcustomercare@chubb.com or by calling Chubb Customer Care at 1-855-57CHUBB (24822) between the hours of 8:30 am and 7:00 pm EST, Monday through Friday.

11.I enrolled in ChubbFolio, why am I still receiving paper copies of my insurance documents?

  • You are still receiving your insurance documents in paper format because another named insured listed on your policy has not yet enrolled in ChubbFolio. In order to completely switch to online delivery, all the named insureds listed on a policy need to enrol in ChubbFolio.

12.I can’t remember my password, how can I access ChubbFolio?

  • At the Sign in page, click on “Forgot your password?” and follow the steps to reset it.

13.I have lost my Access Code, who do I contact?

  • Please contact the Chubb Customer Care team at chubbcustomercare@chubb.com or call 1-855-57CHUBB (24822) between the hours of 8:30 am and 7:00 pm EST, Monday through Friday.

14.I forgot my email address to sign in, who do I contact?

  • Contact the Chubb Customer Care team at chubbcustomercare@chubb.com or call 1-855-57CHUBB (24822) between the hours of 8:30 am and 7:00 pm EST, Monday through Friday.

15.I want to change my password. How do I proceed?

  • You can change your password at any time. At the Sign in page, click on “Forgot your password?” and follow the steps to reset it. Please note that the link sent to you will only be valid for a limited amount of time.

16.I want to change my email address I used to sign in to ChubbFolio. How can I do this?

  • To change the email address linked to your ChubbFolio account, sign-in to ChubbFolio and go to “My account”, “Change Email Address”. Follow the steps to change your email address. You will then receive a confirmation email from Chubb to the new email address you have entered.

17.What important information will I receive after signing up for ChubbFolio?

  • Chubb will notify you via email any time a new document is posted
  • You can choose to receive information from Chubb to learn more about our products and services and also to receive important announcements and updates. This information will be sent to the email address you use for sign-in to ChubbFolio.

18.How can I make sure that I receive information from Chubb?

  • Simply sign-in to ChubbFolio and go to “My Account”, “Change Preference”, and select “I would like to receive information from Chubb”.

19.If I am a Chubb Employee Program customer, is enrolment mandatory in ChubbFolio?

  • Yes. ChubbFolio enrolment is mandatory for all Chubb Employee Program customers.

20.What happens if my policy is cancelled?

  • If any or all of your policies are cancelled, you will continue to have access to ChubbFolio to view any posted documents that would have been uploaded to your ChubbFolio account.

21.The email address I used to sign in to ChubbFolio account is no longer active. How will I receive notification that my ChubbFolio documents have been posted and are available for view?

  • You will receive a letter advising you that the Document Alert we sent to your email address was returned to us as undeliverable. To change your email address, simply sign-in to ChubbFolio, click on “My account”, on “Change Email Address”, and follow the steps to change your email address. You will receive a confirmation email to the new email address you have entered. If you need assistance, please contact the Chubb Customer Care team at chubbcustomercare@chubb.com or call 1-855-57CHUBB (24822) between the hours of 8:30 am and 7:00 pm EST, Monday through Friday.
